MEMPHIS GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 1:00 pm Monday, April 26, 2010 in The Chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Rev. Darrell Burton, Hospice Care of the Southwest Chaplain & Pastor of the Martin Baptist Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT- Fairview Cemetery in Memphis Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Mr. Gambill passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 in Memphis, Texas. Joe was born August 30, 1933 in Hopewell, Lamar Co., Texas to Tommy Brince and Carrie Gladys Hargrove Gambill. He married Holly Haymes on February 21, 1995 in Palestine. He had been a resident of Palestine before moving to Memphis in 1995. He enjoyed working on his house and loved to make bird houses. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife and writing songs for her. He loved to listen to country music. He was Pentecostal. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; several brothers and sisters. SURVIVORS- his wife, Holly Gambill of Memphis; a son, Rocky Gambill of Palestine; a daughter, Rhonda Gambill of Palestine; 3 step sons, Robert Montileone and Timothy Montileone both of Springfield, Missouri, and Tom Montileone of Ozark, Missouri; a step daughter, Lisa Jones of Springfield, Missouri; 2 sisters, Dorothy Isom of Stinnett, and Betty Collins of Amarillo; 1 step grandchild through his son; and 9 step grandchildren by his wife's children.
