Joan Maxine Kidd's Obituary
Joan Maxine Kidd, 84, of Clarendon died Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in Memphis, Texas.
Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, March 20, 2020 in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Payne, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors Clarendon.
Joan was born January 5, 1936 in Clarendon to Leonard and Terra Garland Putman. She married Bob Kidd on October 21, 1954 in Hall county and he preceded her in death in April 2010. Joan was a lifelong resident of Clarendon. She taught Sunday school at the Nazarene Church as well as the First United Methodist Church. She also loved RVing and camping. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bob; brother, Junior Putman; two sisters, Cornette Goodgion and Freida Gray.
Survivors include two sons; Bobbie Kidd and wife Missy, Doug Kidd and wife Nancy all of Clarendon; daughter, Kathy Holland of Clarendon; sister; Yvonne King of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to the Memphis Convalescent Center where Joan resided until her death.
