SERVICES – 2:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016 in the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon with Rev. Matthew Stidham, officiating.
INTERMENT- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Gray was born January 3, 1925 in Clay County, Texas to George and Ollie Johnson. She married Vance Gray on May 30, 1941 in Hedley. She moved to Donley County at the age of 10. She was a member of the Pathfinders Club and the Red Hatters Club. She survived 13 years of being a dorm mother at Clarendon College in Knorpp Hall. She was awarded the Donley County Pioneer Woman of the Year several years ago. She was a great cook.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – Her parents, her husband in 1996; and a daughter, Jeanne Gray Tittle in 1998.
SURVIVORS – 3 sons, Jerry Gray and wife Gloria of Canyon, Larry Gray and wife Derlene, and Buster Gray and wife Linda all of Clarendon; a daughter, Charlene Brown and husband Butch of Floydada; a sister, Joyce Jackson of Lubbock; a sister in law, Blanch Gray of Parker County, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to Donley County Senior Citizens in Clarendon or Citizens Cemetery Association in Clarendon.
