Jessie Morales Jr.'s Obituary
Jessie Morales, Jr., 60, of Memphis, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Robertson Saints’ Roost Chapel in Clarendon, with Mike Rhinehart officiating.
Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Jessie was born on December 13, 1964, in Paducah, Texas, to Jessie Morales, Sr. and Olivia (Guerrero) Morales. He was one of ten children and grew up in Plainview, where he graduated from Plainview High School.
Jessie married the love of his life, Mary Louisa Torres. Together, they made their home in Memphis, Texas, where they have lived for the past 36 years. They combined their families and built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and togetherness.
Jessie loved people and never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was known for his great sense of humor, always ready with a joke to try and make others laugh. His warm and outgoing personality made him well-liked by everyone he met, and he built many lasting friendships throughout his life. He had a deep love for his three dogs and took pride in his hard work and dedication to everything he did.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Morales, Sr.; his brother, Carlos Morales; and his sister, Cindy Morales.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Morales of Memphis; his mother, Olivia Morales of Plainview; five sons, Jessie Morales III of Marble Falls, Anestacio Morales (Maria) of Childress, Fidel Castillo III (Janae)of Van Horn, Cameron Castillo (Keyana Quintero) of Van Horn, and Gabriel Castillo (Cailin Rose) of Van Horn; three daughters, Sylvia Morales of Marble Falls, Zoe Castillo (Derrick Delacruz) of Lubbock, and Aubrey Castillo of Van Horn; two brothers, Henry Morales and Raymond Morales, both of Plainview; five sisters, Dora Denny(Darwin) of Plainview, Sandra Decerda of Kansas, Frances Morales of Plainview, Susan Gonzales(Ralph) of Garland, and Sophia Munoz (Luis) of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Mezias Morales of Childress, Maverick Jones of Van Horn, Rayden Castillo of Van Horn, Grayson Castillo of Van Horn, Bradley Cy White of Marble Falls, and Alexis Marie Ward of Lubbock; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
