SERVICES - 2:00 pm on Monday, June 15, 2015 in the First Baptist Church in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes, officiating. INTERMENT - Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Jessie was born July 31, 1941 in McLean to Jessie and Myrtle Trout Cooper. He married Joy Maye Richardson on February 17, 1962 in McLean. He was a longtime resident of McLean . He loved being a mechanic and could fix anything. He enjoyed playing golf and loved his family dearly. He was a Baptist.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents; his wife, Joy; 2 sisters; and a great grandson, Bryan Bybee. SURVIVORS - ; 3 sons, Robert Cooper, Casey Cooper and wife Dorothea, Clay Cooper and wife Tracie all of McLean. 2 brothers; Cecil Cooper of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and James Cooper of Moore, Oklahoma. 3 sister, Faye Crutcher, Effie Payne and Mary Richardson all of McLean; 4 grandchildren, Mark Cook, Britnie Cooper, Braxton Cooper, and Kinzie Cooper; and 2 great grandchildren, Elizabeth Bybee and Joshua Bybee; a family friend, Gene Conger of Lubbock; and a special thanks to his niece Janet Kilcrease for her loving care. MEMORIALS - The family request memorials be to American Cancer Society or Texas Onocology.
