Jean began working as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in 1999. She retired in 2009 after 10 years of service.
Jean spent many years at Wheeler Nursing and Rehab, both as an employee and for the last 8 years as a resident. While there, she enjoyed playing Bingo and participating in all the various social activities. She especially enjoyed spending time talking with others.
