MEMORIAL SERVICES- 10:30 am Saturday, December 3, 2011 in the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Lloyd Stice, Pastor, officiating.
INURNMENT- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Local Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Mrs. McAnear was born June 6, 1927 at the old Nelson Home place near Floydada to W.H. and Mildred Nelson. She married Fed McAnear on December 6, 1947 in Plainview.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; her husband, Fed on February 4, 1997; a sister, Opal Hart, and a daughter, Darlene Dune.
SURVIVORS - 2 sons, Jack Fed McAnear and wife Patricia of Corpus Christi, and Mike McAnear and wife Brenda of Amarillo; a daughter, Joyce Luehrs and husband Robert of Corpus Christi; her brother, H. Nelson and wife Loene of Lubbock; one sister, Lou Blodgett of Lubbock; 7 grandchildren as well as a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS - The family request memorials be to Fight Colorectal Cancer / 1414 Prince Street, Suite 204 / Alexandria, VA 22314, or the Island in the Son United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi at www.islandintheson.org or the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon.
