Great man. Great family. Rest In Peace.
I’m praying for you Patty, and your precious family. This community loves you and we will all miss JC.
I grew up with JC on Stiles Ranch. He was like a big brother to us. Even though he was 6 years older, he always made time for us & never let on if we got on his nerves. I remember jumping off a bridge near the old rock barn after a big snow & becoming instantly stuck up to my chest. JC got a big laugh out of it and had to pull me out with a shovel. He was just a great person and role model. Prayers for all of his family and friends. We will miss him.
I never knew anyone who didn’t like JC. Not only did I never hear anyone say anything negative about JC, I never heard him say anything negative about someone else. He would help a stranger if he was in a position to do it.
JC loved the outdoors. I think he especially liked taking care of cattle. He was always patient when working around cattle and he had good instincts on how to best handle a situation. I think that was because he didn’t look at it as a job. He, like all good cow men, loved being around and caring for animals. He will be missed.
Love you all. Hugs and prayers.
