CREMATION & ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude.
J.B was born April 30, 1939 in Oklahoma to Beatrice and Jasper Burnard Smith, Sr. He married Jorean Hood in 1959. He had been a resident of Claude most of his life and was a supervisor for Texas Department of Transportation prior to his retirement. He loved hunting, fishing, and Nascar.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; and a sister, Shirley.
SURVIVORS – his wife, Jorean Smith of Claude; a son, Gary Smith of Round Rock; a daughter, Shari Hemenway of Hibbing, MN; a sister, Sandra Thomas of Amarillo; and 4 grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family request memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
