GRAVESIDE SERVICES- 2:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. INTERMENT- Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean. Local Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Janie Todd Romero was born March 25, 1944 in Pampa, Texas to Harold Raymond and Bonnie Mae (Massey) Todd and passed from this life April 11, 2015 at her home in Wetumka surrounded by her family at the age of 71. Janie was raised in West Texas and attended school at Grandview Hopkins in Bowers City, Texas and Lefors High School in Lefors, Texas. She later drove the school bus at Grandview Hopkins for many years. She is best remembered as a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lois Devoll and Louise Stanford; a brother, James Todd; and two sons, Melvin Todd Day and Raymond Lloyd Miller. Survivors include her husband Frank Romero of the home; daughters, Tonya Martinez and husband David of Pampa, Texas, Marie DeWolfe and husband Roger Ray of Ashville, NC, Melissa Peterman of Pampa, Texas, and Christina Romero of Wetumka; a brother, Marvin Todd of White Deer, Texas; her grandchildren, Sarah (Scooter Ritchie) Young, Cheyenne Young, Rosa Kayleigha, Fiah Martinez, Justin Land, Sierra (Phil) Mulkey, Cody DeWolfe, and Michaela DeWolfe; great grandsons, Niamiah Romero and Jace Mulkey; and friend Rick DeWolfe.
