Jane Ann Hall's Obituary
Jane Ann Hall, 90, of Wheeler, TX, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 4, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe, TX, with Shawn Zybach officiating, assisted by Zane Zybach.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Jane Ann was born on June 22, 1935 in Wheeler County, TX to the late Elbert Zybach and Ruby (Goad) Zybach. She was born with a servant’s heart and lived a life marked by faith, dedication, and deep love for those around her.
Jane Ann and Curtis Hall were united in marriage on April 9, 1955, and shared 63 wonderful years together, building a life centered on love, faith, and family.
She attended West Texas A&M University for three years, where she was a member of the Alpha Kappa Gamma sorority and proudly played in the university band. She later earned her bachelor’s degree in business education and secretarial science, preparing her for a lifelong career that would impact countless lives. Jane Ann dedicated 32 years to teaching, faithfully serving her students with patience, kindness, and a true love of learning. She taught for nine years at Rex Reeves Elementary in Canyon, Texas, and for 23 years at Wheeler ISD.
She was an active and devoted member of the Church of Christ Wheeler area. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived it out daily through her compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering love for others. Above all, Jane Ann adored her family. She cherished every moment spent with them and found great joy in watching her family grow. Her great-grandchildren brought her especially deep happiness and were a bright light in her later years. Jane Ann will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her steadfast faith, her lifelong commitment to education, and most of all, her deep and abiding love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Ruby Zybach; her beloved husband, Curtis Hall; and her son, Kent Hall.
She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to live on through her family. Her survivors include her daughter, Kathy Murray and husband Kyndal Murray of Wheeler; her grandchildren, Krista Marshall and husband Steve Marshall of Wheeler, and Derek Murray and wife Jennifer Murray of Pampa, TX; her
great-grandchildren, Dylan Marshall and Kynslee Marshall of Wheeler, Tynlee Murray and Maxon Murray of Pampa; her brother, Bob Zybach of Briscoe, TX and David Zybach and sister-in-law Becky Zybach of Briscoe; her sister-in-law, Myrtis Jones of Pampa; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
