Jan Morgan Genn, 65, of Memphis died Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Lubbock.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey, officiating.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Webb Hill Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Jan was born October 24, 1955 in Fort Worth, texas to Drew and Betty Watts Morgan. She had been a resident of Memphis since 2007 and spent a lot of her time at the Old Fashion Freeze. She was a volunteer EMT for 4 years. Jan loved reading and the outdoors. She enjoyed visiting her family land in Greenville and loved her family time.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Glenda Neighbors; her brother, Floyd Alvin Hamrick, Jr.; and a sister, Betty Ann.
Survivors include her son, Adam Genn and wife Istzayana of Memphis; her brother, Douglas Morgan of Ballinger; her sister, Rebecca Gomez of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Tylor Genn of Amarillo, Jade Genn, Jesse Cariveau and Aryan Cariveau all of Memphis; her half brother, Lloyd Allen Hamrick of Dumas; and her step brothers, Ricky Spencer and Billy Spencer.
