Services - 10:00 am Thursday, May 5, 2005 in Robertson Chapel Of Memories in Clarendon with Rev. Bryan Knowles, Pastor of Community Fellowship Church, officiating. Interment in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
James was born February 12, 1946 in Borger and had lived in Amarillo much of his life. He married Sharon Wilson on May 28, 1977 at Logan, NM. He had worked for several years in road construction for Gilvin-Terrell. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Glisson; and by 2 brothers, Wayne Glisson and Lee Glisson.
Survivors - his wife, Sharon Glisson of Amarillo; his mother, Ethel Glisson of Amarillo; a sister, Paula Hall of Amarillo; children, James Glisson II of Amarillo, Alvin Glisson of Amarillo, Angela Copas of Oklahoma, Melissa Velarde and husband Joseph of El Paso, Leland Glisson and wife Cara of California; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials - Odyssey Hospice in Amarillo.
