CLAUDE SERVICES- 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 in the First Baptist Church. Interment - Claude Cemetery Jake was born in Howe, Texas and had been an Armstrong County resident since 1947. He married Myrtice Elyda Anderson on August 9, 1941 at Claude. He was a farmer, and was a heavy equipment operator for several years for Armstrong County before his retirement. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and had served for over 30 years as a Deacon and was a Sunday School teacher for several years. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby Gentry Driskill, his wife on February 20, 1984, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Survivors - a daughter, Mary Ellen Campbell of Anson; 2 sisters, Margie Davis of Granbury, Elsie Nell Dansbee of Early, a brother, Paul Driskill of Wichita Falls; 3 grandchildren, Jim Campbell of Abilene, Danella Wheeler of Snyder, Sarah Bell of Anson; 6 great grandsons, and one great granddaughter.
