McLEAN SERVICES- Memorial services at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2009 in the First United Methodist Church in McLean with Rev. Thacker Haynes, Pastor, officiating. Cremation & Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean. Mr. Allison was born September 14, 1940 in McLean to Clifford and Opal Smith Allison. He had been a resident of McLean for most of his life. He had been a banker, farmer, rancher, real estate agent, and involved in various business ventures throughout his life before his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and gardening as well as spending time with his family and quiet time with his dogs. He married Johnnie Bruce Peeples on October 2, 1982 at McLean. He was a member of the McLean Lions Club and a member of the First United Methodist Church in McLean. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents; his sister Shirley; and his brother Johnny. SURVIVORS - his wife Johnnie Allison of McLean; one son, Todd Allison of Plainview; 2 step sons, Denny Peeples of Wichita Falls, Greg Peeples of Arlington; a step daughter, Crysta Jones of Dallas; and 10 grandchildren.
