Jaime Galvan's Obituary
Jaime Galvan, 65, of Memphis, died on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Memphis.
Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 14, 2022 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey, officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Viewing will be held Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Jaime was born May 21, 1956 in Mission to Bartolo and Esperanza Contreras Galvan. He married Guadalupe Trevino on May 26, 1972 in Hereford. He had been a resident of Hereford and Grand Prairie before moving to Memphis in 2016. Truck driving was his passion and he loved being on the road and working as a truck driver. He loved trying to fix anything, listening to music, fishing, and jokes. Jaime had a great sense of humor. Most of all, he loved his grandkids and they were his whole world. He will be deeply missed by his family..
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lupe on May 3, 2019; and four sisters.
Survivors include his daughters, Virginia Galvan Avila of Grand Prairie, Sonya Veronica Galvan of Memphis, and Belinda Luna of Dallas; 1 brother; 3 sisters; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
