Jackie “Butch” Cicero Turpen, 80, of McLean died Friday, July 6, 2018 in McLean.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean with Rev. Randy Stalls and Rev. Thacker Haynes, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Visitation will be held at Robertson Funeral Directors in McLean on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Butch was born on May 2, 1938 in Donley County to Cicero “Turp” Turpen and Anne Cleo Foster Turpen. He married Nona Turpen on November 3, 1985 in Lefors. He was lived most of his life in McLean and attended the Heald United Methodist Church. He enjoying roping, cutting horses, and drinking coffee with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Greg Mann.
Survivors include his wife Nona Turpen of McLean, his children Robbie Lynn Sanderson of McLean, Allen Roy Turpen and wife Kelly Owasso, OK, and Grant Mann and wife Jennifer of Paris; a sister Dixie “Cherry” McKraken; 4 grandchildren Amanda Sparling and husband Frankie of McLean, Jamie Herrera and husband Chavo of Mustang, OK, and Leah Turpen and Lindsey Turpen of Owasso, OK; and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to Kindred Hospice or the McLean Care Center.
