SERVICES – 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey and Danny McFalls, officiating.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
ARRANGEMENTS - Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
J.C. was born February 18, 1939 in Kinta, Oklahoma to William M. and Dessie Coonfield Upton. He married Mary Helen McKee on February 15, 1958 in Hedley. He had worked for Plains Creamery for 29 ½ years prior to his retirement. He loved the Oklahoma Sooners, horses, & family. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Memphis.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his parents; his son, Timothy J. Upton; a grandson, T.J. Upton; a granddaughter, Britney Rodriguez; and several brothers & sisters.
SURVIVORS – his wife, Mary Upton of Memphis; a son, Casey Upton of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Cindy Horton and Debbie Arnold both of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
MEMORIALS- The family requests memorials be to the First Baptist Church in Memphis or Fairview Cemetery Association.
