Isaac Martin "Ike" Huval's Obituary
CLARENDON SERVICES - Rosary will be said on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 7:00 pm in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarendon. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, February 4, 2008 in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarendon with Rev. Arokia Raj "Raj" Samala as the celebrant. INTERMENT - St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Clarendon. Ike was born July 15, 1929 in Pampa to Isaac Joseph & Olive Louisa Griffith Huval. He was a US Army veteran during peacetime. He received a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and achieved a Master’s degree from the University of Tulsa. He was a member of the American Petroleum Institute, Geological society, lodge member, NRA, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program for 10 plus years, Texas Gold, & a honorary member of Sigma Gamma Epsilon. He had been a resident of Miltias, California before moving to Clarendon 13 years ago. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY- his parents. SURVIVORS INCLUDE- 2 daughters, Monica Reese of Tulsa, OK, & Terri Belote and husband Harold of Springdale, AR; 2 sons, Anthony “Tony“ Huval and wife LouAnne of Sourlake & Neal Huval and wife Janet of Stillwell, OK; a step daughter, Nannette Garcia of Washington; a sister, Nancy Wilson of Lubbock; 8 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 2 nieces & nephews; & caregivers, Denise & Roy Bertrand of Clarendon.
