Irenia Soliz Perez's Obituary
Irenia Soliz Perez, 87, of Memphis, TX passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at her home.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis with Father John Sangabathini officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Irene was born in Beeville, TX on April 5, 1937, to Manuel Soliz and Maria Ojeda. She moved to Memphis, TX in the 1960’s and has been a resident since. She was a housewife and homemaker who loved taking care of her four children. She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed sewing. Irene spent a great deal of time outdoors working in her yard and tending her garden. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mabel Lee Domingez; two brothers, Jose Manuel Soliz and Jose Maria Soliz; two sisters, Lucia Soliz Adame and Chistina Soliz Garcia.
Irene is survived by her son, Manuel Soliz Perez III and wife Jessica Martinez Perez of Corpus Christi, TX; two daughters, Peggy Sue Hall of Memphis and Mary Helen Campbell of Panhandle; two sisters, Gloria Soliz Guarguche and Maria Delia Soliz; 12 grandchildren, Robert Lee Langford, Lee McQuade Langford, Tabitha Kay Martinez, Jessica Nicole Hall, Matthew Brenden Hall and wife Aubree Hall, Manuel Vincent Perez IV, Alondra Bre Perez, Ryan Garcia, Nydia Perez, Kyra Michel Mitchell, Kayla Nicole Smith, and Mitchell Neal Campbell; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
