SERVICES – Rosary will be said at 6:00 pm Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the Robertson Funeral Directors Heritage Chapel in Memphis. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, January 27, 2017 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis with Fr. Marco Gonzales, as the celebrant.
INTERMENT – Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.

Ignacia was born February 27, 1935 in Cuidad Victoria, Mexico to Candido and Natalia Marquez. She married Reyes Maldonado, Sr. in 1951 in Edinburg. She had been a resident of Memphis since 1968 and took great care of her 14 kids. She was a homemaker and loved to make quilts. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis and a member of the Lady of Guadalupana.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband in 2001; 3 sons, Reyes Maldonado, Ramiro Maldonado, and Rene Maldonado; a sister, Patrica Garcia; and 5 grandchildren, Roy Maldonado, Roman Maldonado, Rudy Maldonado, Cody Martinez, and Zoila McLaughlin.
SURVIVORS – 3 sons, Roy Maldonado, Sr. of Gordonville, Ramiro and Raul Maldonado both of Memphis; 8 daughters, Velia Reyes, Yolando Maldonado, Francis Maddox, Delia Morgan all of Claude, Ofelia Montoya of Memphis, Slyvia Sommers of Webster, Aurora Rodriguez of Canadian, and Gloria Vick of Franklin, VA; 36 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
