GROOM MEMORIAL SERVICES- 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 27, 2007 in the First Baptist Church in Groom with Rev. David Kelly, Pastor, officiating.
Mr. Rose was born January 21, 1930 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Logan and Lillie Mae Garrett Rose. He married Mary Helen Mansel on July 23, 1967 at Amarillo. He was a resident of Oklahoma City prior to moving to Groom more than 45 years ago. He had been a maintenance worker much of his life before his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Groom. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents and an infant brother. SURVIVORS - his wife, Mary Helen Rose of Groom; one daughter, Terri Rose of Groom; one son, Michael Rose and wife Bethany of Amarillo; one sister, Sandra Jo Peery of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Brooke, Madison, and Collin; and several nieces and nephews. MEMORIALS - Groom Ambulance Service or Groom Fire Department.
