Holly Michelle Lindley's Obituary
Holly Michelle Lindley of Shamrock, TX passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 in Amarillo, TX at the age of 49 years, 11 months and 26 days. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Shamrock, with Billy Paul Vinson officiating, assisted by Jeremiah Soto.
Cremation and Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.
Holly was born November 26, 1975 in Borger, TX to Mickey and Connie (Hagburg) Jones. They soon moved to Shamrock, where Holly grew up. She graduated from Shamrock High School in 1994. She then attended West Texas A & M University, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology. On July 8, 2000, shortly before graduating from college, Holly married Lance Lindley in Shamrock.
Holly also began her teaching and coaching career at that time. Throughout her 22 years in education, she worked at Thorndale ISD, Fort Stockton ISD, Borger ISD, Plemons-Stinnett-Phillips CISD, and Fort Elliott CISD. Holly taught and coached in many different places, and everywhere she worked she left a lasting imprint on those around her.
Holly enjoyed spending time at the lake, skiing in the mountains, and watching sports, especially the Cowboys. She discovered a true passion for coaching volleyball, pouring her heart into every team she led, but Holly’s greatest joy in life was being married to Lance and being a mother to her two girls, Landry and Addison. These are the roles she cherished above all else.
Holly lit up every room she entered and will forever be remembered for her infectious laugh, her sweet spirit, and her love for Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents, George and Dorris Jones and Allen and Erlene Hagburg; Uncle, Tom Jones; and her Father-in-Law, Carl Walker.
Holly is survived by her husband Lance Lindley of Shamrock; Daughters, Landry and Addison Lindley of Fritch, TX; Parents, Mickey and Connie Jones of Shamrock; Mother-in-Law, Debbie Walker of Shamrock; Father-in-Law, Tommy Lindley (wife Kathy) of Samnorwood, TX; Brother, Kevin Jones (wife Casey, Daughters Kierstin and Kiera) of Borger, TX; Sister, Jordan Glassey (husband Joe Don, sons Jensen and Jeran) of Aubrey, TX; Sister-in-Law, Leslie Timmons (husband Kelley, kids Austin and Blayke) of Shamrock; Brother-in-Law, Jason Lindley (son Brixton) of Canyon, TX; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
