Hildreth "Jane" Little's Obituary
Hildreth Jane Little, known as Jane, 80 years old, of Howardwick, Texas, passed away on October 12, 2022 in her home after a long illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, October 20, 2022, in Robertson Funeral Directors Saints' Roost Chapel in Clarendon with Elder James Baker officiating. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 19th from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 PM.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Jane was born in Tussy, Oklahoma on July 12, 1942. Jane was married to Lyman Dale Little December 29,1959 in National City, California. She was 17 and he was 19 years old. They were married almost 63 years.
After raising her children and completing her education she worked at MHMR facilities taking care of three group homes with six people in each one.
She moved several times following her husband’s career moves. Starting in Southern California then moving to Socorro, New Mexico; then to Espanola, New Mexico; then to Kansas City, Missouri; then to Los Osos, California; then to Livermore, California; Finally to Texas where she lived the remainder of her days.
Jane always had a love of literature. She was an avid reader and author. She wrote a series of 3 books which are published online.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings. She was the last surviving sibling of 9 children.
Jane is survived by her Husband, Lyman Little of Howardwick, TX; her 3 adult children, Steven Little of Tracy, California, Lana Frederickson of Madera, California and Melanie Cattaneo of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by Grandchildren, Joshua Frederickson of Frederick, CO, Keith Frederickson of Tracy, California, Elizabeth Cattaneo, Diane Cattaneo and Megan Smith of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren: Maxwell Holt, Liam Frederickson, Tegan Frederickson and Oliver Smith.
