Hermelinda Lopez, 44, of Memphis, TX, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 in Amarillo.
Family directed memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at La Iglesia Firme in Memphis with Pastor Reyes Martinez officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Hermelinda was born on January 28, 1979 in Memphis, TX, to Mario Lopez and Gloria Saenz Garcia. She graduated from Lakeview High School. Hermelinda has been a lifelong resident of Memphis and worked over 5 years as a cook at the Freeze restaurant. She was also a member of La Iglesia Firme Church.
Hermelinda loved to sing. She also enjoyed being outdoors barbequing and fishing. Hermelinda loved spending time with her family. She deeply loved her children and grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fidel and Julia Lopez; maternal grandparents, Adan and Florencia Saenz; step-father, Pedro Garcia; and uncle, Adan Saenz, Jr.
Hermelinda is survived by her father, Mario Lopez of Memphis; mother, Gloria Garcia of Memphis; son, Gage McClure of California; 3 daughters, Grace Sanan of Chicago, Kari Carranza of Sinton, TX, and Kendall Sanan of Chicago; brother, Noah Lopez of Memphis; sisters, Jessica Marie Lopez and Amelia Easley, both of Memphis; and one grandchild, Justin Gonzales of Sinton, TX.
