MEMPHIS Services - 2:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2005 in the Memphis Church Of Christ with Tom Anderson, Minister, officiating. Interment in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Herman was born May 9, 1916 in Tulia to Cecil Ray and Alma Hudson Cross. He was a resident of Clarendon before moving to Memphis in 1973. He married Ernestine Lemons on November 24, 1945 at Childress. He was in the service station business for much of his life before his retirement. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Memphis Church Of Christ. Survivors - his wife, Ernestine Cross of Memphis, TX; a daughter, Annette Osburn and husband Benny of Clarendon, TX; a grandson, Blake Osburn and wife Erin and great granddaughter, Kailee Joanne all of Clarendon; 2 brothers, C. Ray Cross and wife Betty of Rancho Mirage, CA, Murry Cross and wife Mary of St. Petersburg, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials - Citizens Cemetery Association or Memphis EMS.
