Henry Wendell Talley's Obituary
CLARENDON MEMORIAL SERVICES- 11:00 AM Friday, June 8, 2012 in Robertson Funeral Directors Saints Roost Chapel in Clarendon with Don Stone, officiating. INURNMENT- with US Air Force Honors will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Talley was born June 2, 1941, in Hedley, to Wanna Mae Carothers Talley and Emery W. Talley. Talley was always interested in our country and all the elected officials of his choice. He stayed in contact with them and supported them. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Thailand in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and he was a jet mechanic and served on bombing missions over North Vietnam. He enjoyed reading his Bible and was quite knowledgeable about the scriptures. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Tally had many friends in Clarendon who were helpful and supportive of him in years past. For this the family is extremely grateful. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents. SURVIVORS - two sisters, Maxine Robinson of Clarendon and Judy Hays of Bingam, New Mexico; three nieces, Mona Oney of Cleburne, Lori Robinson of Clarendon, and Christina Childress of Lubbock; one nephew, Clint Robinson of Lubbock; and several great nieces and nephews.
