LIBERAL, Kan
ROSARY – will be said at 7:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2013 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Groom.
MEMORIAL MASS – will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2013 in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Groom with Fr. Arokia Raj Samala as the celebrant.
INURNMENT – St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Groom.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
BIOGRAPHY – Mr. Koetting was born March 16, 1957 to Marvin and Mary Ann Koetting, one of 11 children. After attending Groom High School, he attended Stephen F. Austin State University. He moved back to Amarillo and spent many years working with the Texas Department of Transportation and the City of Amarillo.
He married Margaret Amerin in 2006, and together they, with son Ambrose Gallardo, made their home in Liberal, Kan., where he worked for the City of Liberal.
Henry was a loving husband, father, and brother. He loved to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors whenever possible.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – his father, Marvin Koetting; and his mother, Mary Ann Koetting-Robinson.
SURVIVORS – his wife; son; five brothers, Paul Koetting and wife Mary of Ferris, Mike Koetting and wife DeNise of Amarillo, Mark Koetting of Groom, Neil Koetting and wife Cheryl of Lelia Lake, and Richard Koetting of Pueblo West, Colo; five sisters, Mary Carol Falconer of Brownwood, Kay Ledbetter and husband Randy of Amarillo, Jean Noggler and husband John of Adrian, Jane Meyer and husband Richard of Vega, and Kathleen Barkley and husband Keith of Groom; stepfather, Keith Robinson of Groom; and many nieces and nephews.
