Hendrick O’Neal Newsome was born to the parentage of Kenneth R. Walker and Patricia Newsome on September 24, 1979 in Memphis, Texas. He was blessed with a Father of Love and Devotion, Danny E. McFalls. He departed this earth in Irving, TX on July 23, 2025. Nott accepted Christ at a young age, baptized at Antioch Baptist Church in Memphis, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Judge E. Smith Sr. (grandfather) and later joined New Birth Baptist church in Wichita Falls, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Judge E. Smith Jr. (Uncle) Nott’s faith and love for God was contagious!
In school, Nott was an Honor Student, Talented & Gifted, an Eagle Scout, and a proud Memphis Cyclone participating in several sports and extracurriculars. He later attended college in Clarendon, TX and Amarillo, TX. He worked for serveral years on the oil field and later went into business for himself by starting N&M Tree Service. Nott’s favorite times were spent with his loved ones. He enjoyed fishing and barbecuing for his family and friends at gatherings. It was also a known fact that he was sure to “hit his signature move”! If you asked him he’d say, “My family is a family like no other - a family where cousins are your siblings, nephews and nieces are your kids, and aunts and uncles are your parents. A family that truly prays together and stays together!” His family and friends will miss his early morning phone calls, asking about your day, or just letting you know he loved you. Nott also had a passion for feeding and serving the homeless and hungry. He would often cook food in the park and deliver care packages during inclement weather. Along with most of his family, he was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. His siblings would gather almost every Sunday for Food, Family, and Football. They loved to taunt him and joke how he was sure to give up on the game before two minutes had passed and then cheer loud and nearly knock someone over after a good play was made in the next two minutes. His heart, his smile, his laughter, and his dance moves will be missed the most.
Nott is survived by his Mother, Patricia McFalls, two beautiful daughters Ashlynn (husband Rhett) and grandson Nash, Raynee Rascon (husband Servando) and grandson Axel, four brothers Billy, Timmell, Darrion, and Kenneth Jr., nine sisters Cindy, Chonte, Dawana, Tonica, Nastassia, Berthina, Sakinah, Dena, and Lajuana, his Granny of Heart Mertel Faye Walker, four uncles, ten aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth Walker Sr, his father Danny McFalls, brother Danny Jr., his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Those we love don’t walk away, They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but Always near, Still loved, Still missed, and very dear. In Nott’s own words, “It’s never Goodbye, but Talk to You Later!”
