MEMPHIS FUNERAL SERVICES - 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in Memphis with Rev. Daniel Downey, Pastor, and Jody Smith officiating. VISITATION: Monday, March 25, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Robertson Funeral Directors, 1644 North 18th, Memphis, Texas. INTERMENT - Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis. Helen was born September 12, 1929 in Memphis to Lynn B. and Mattie Orah Kennon Jones. She married Fred Clark Crisman on September 12, 1947 in Memphis. Two daughters were born to this union. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy L. Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Ann Crisman Stewart of Lubbock, and Karen Elaine Crisman of Memphis; two grandsons, Paul Clark Stewart and wife Karen, of Lubbock, and David Rea Stewart of Lubbock; her great grandson, Caleb Paul Lynn Stewart of Lubbock; two brothers, Clinton Buck Jones and wife Jimmie Sue, of Lubbock, and Winston Mason Jones and wife Marsha, of Lubbock; and was blessed with 10 nieces and nephews. Helen worked for Hall County for 19 years serving under 3 different Judges. She worked for several churches in Lubbock for over 15 years. She also worked at Texas Tech University, before moving back to Memphis in 1979. Helen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Memphis. Helen was secretary for the Hall County Picnic Association from 1983 until 1996. She was bookkeeper for the Heritage Hall Museum. Her hobbies were Genealogy, Quilting, Crafting, gardening, singing in church choirs, and reading. Helen was a wonderful mother and grandmother and was very involved with all her family and friends. she was always more than willing to help in anyway possible in her community. Memorials may be made to Heritage Hall Museum in Memphis or a favorite charity.
