SERVICES – 10:30 am Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the Cowboy Church in McLean with Ronnie Ferguson, officiating.
INTERMENT – Hillcrest Cemetery in McLean.

Hazel was born June 2, 1928 in Wheeler County to Granvil Lois and Ollie Anderson Sanderson. She married Cecil Leon Gillispie in 1943. She had been been a resident of McLean since 1969. She raised, trained, and showed horses. She was a proud 30 year cancer survivor. She was an awesome mother, grandmother, great grandmother, seamstress, and carpenter. She was a member of the Cowboy Church in McLean.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY – her parents; her husband; 2 brothers; and a sister.
SURVIVORS – a son, Leon Eugene Gillispie and wife Debbie of Amarillo; a daughter, Jerry Billingsley and husband Bill of McLean; a brother, J.B. Sanderson and wife Patricia of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Margie Johnson and wife Dick, Mattie Holman, Vernell Miller, and Betty Smith all of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren, Pam Wilde, Lisa Gillispie, Bryan Gillispie, Billie Billingsley and wife Angie, and Deana Alvarado and husband Jimmy; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
