Gwendolyn Faye Weatherly, 82, of Wheeler died Sunday, January 19, 2020 in Wheeler.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler with Erron Mercer, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Gwen was born February 27, 1937 in Ponta, Texas to Vesta and Ona Richardson. She had been a longtime resident of Wheeler and Amarillo. She had worked as a secretary for SPS/Xcel Energy prior to her retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wheeler where she had sang in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Kirk Weatherly and wife Pam of Memphis, and Scott Weatherly of Wheeler; two daughters, Dauun Bednarz of Amarillo and Ronda Hanstad of Redlands, California; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
