CLARENDON SERVICES - Memorial services at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 in Robertson Chapel Of Memories with Leonard Holt, Pastor of the Agape Christian Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT - Monday, August 29, 2005 in Citizens Cemetery. Mr. Hatcher was born February 19, 1940 in Idabel, Oklahoma and was an Amarillo resident before moving to Clarendon 3 years ago. He married Norma Jean Northern on October 3, 1964 at Amarillo. He had been the maintenance supervisor at the Chasewood Apartments before his retirement. He was a member of a men’s bowling league and bowled in the Grand Street League. He was a member of the Agape Christian Church in Clarendon. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his parents, William Herbert and Nona Estella Whitten Hatcher; and by 3 brothers, W. D. Hatcher, Charles H. Hatcher, and Wayne Hatcher. SURVIVORS - his wife, Norma Jean Hatcher of Clarendon; and 8 sisters, Gladys Stogsdill of Garland, Mary Bogle of Edmond, OK, Nona Renfro of Marlow, OK, Jean Pogue of Wichita Falls, Ann Mims of Weatherford, TX, Betty Novak of Edmond, OK, Lorraine Almsted of Wellington, and Lameda Black of Wellington. MEMORIALS - BSA Hospice or Harrington Cancer Center in Amarillo.
