Gloria Lee Woodmore's Obituary
Gloria Lee Woodmore (nee Rush), age 79, of McLean, Texas, passed away in Amarillo, Texas, on February 2, 2025. Born on December 14, 1945, to Demmon and Virginia Rush, Gloria was one of nine children and is survived by her siblings Floyd, Deryl, Linda, Lavonne, Dolores, Carol, Doris, and Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her parents and followed in death by her devoted husband, Allan Woodmore, who passed away on February 4, 2025.
Gloria was a loving mother to five children: Kenneth, Derek, Susan, Rebecca, and Virginia. Gloria cherished her role as grandmother to nine grandchildren: Alexis, Ericka, Brandon, Corey, Cara, Sophia, Daniel, Andrew, and Christa. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren.
Gloria found joy in a variety of creative pursuits, including woodworking, crocheting, and knitting. She cherished the time spent visiting with her brothers and sisters, and above all, Gloria treasured the time spent with her family.
Memorial services for Gloria will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Robertson Funeral Directors Route 66 Chapel, 100 E 4th St McLean, Tx 79057.
