Glenna Sue Giddens' Obituary
Glenna Sue Giddens, 89, of Wheeler, Texas died Friday, April 5, 2024 in Wheeler.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 in the Wheeler Area Church of Christ in Wheeler with Shawn Zybach, officiating. Burial will follow in Zybach Cemetery in Briscoe.
Viewing will be held Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Glenna Sue was born January 8, 1935 in Wheeler, Texas to Clarence Glen and Nona Green Elmore. She married Ray Giddens on September 3, 1953 in New Mexico. She had been a lifetime resident of Wheeler where she was a homemaker and lived on the Britt Ranch most of her married life. She enjoyed her roses and loved flowers. She attended the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2015; and a sister, Beverly Bowman.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Zybach and husband Wayne of Briscoe, Nancy Britten and husband Mark of Amarillo, and Tonia Young and husband Ray of Bastrop; her brother, Larry Elmore of Allison; her sister, Phyllis Williams of Haslet; 9 grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Lindsey, Brittnie, Emily, Sammy, Clay, Casey, and Nathan; and 13 great grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.
