Glenn Alan Mann's Obituary
HURST MEMORIAL SERVICES- Memorial services at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 13, 2006 in Robertson Chapel Of Memories with Bright Newhouse, Minister of the Hedley Church Of Christ, and Eddie Stegall, Minister of the Clarendon Church Of Christ, officiating. Cremation took place in Fort Worth. Interment will be in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Mr. Mann was born December 11, 1949 in Clarendon and was raised in Clarendon. He was a resident of Georgia before moving to Hurst 20 years ago. He had been a truck driver most of his life. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, for which he received numerous commendations and awards for his military service. He was a member of the Church Of Christ. He is preceded in death by his father, Gordon V. Mann on April 21, 1991; and a brother, Wayne Mann on July 29, 1971. Survivors include his mother, Irene Brians Mann of Lubbock; a sister, Shirley Bobbitt and husband Emmett of Lubbock; and several nieces and nephews. The family request memorials be sent to the Clarendon Church Of Christ Family Life Center Fund.
