Geraldine Holland's Obituary
Geraldine Holland, 94, of Hedley died Sunday, December 8, 2019 in Hedley.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 13, 2019 in the First Baptist Church in Hedley with Rev. Bruce Howard, officiating. Burial will follow in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley.
Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Geraldine was born November 21, 1925 in Clarendon to Leon and Threecle Foster. She married Buford Holland on December 12, 1942 in Lelia Lake. She had been a lifetime resident of Hedley and was a homemaker. Geraldine loved embroidery, photos, and working on the the farm. Her biggest accomplishment was her family which she loved very much. Geraldine, along with Buford, were the biggest Hedley and Hedley Owl supporters, where you would see them at many activities. She loved her husband and was his biggest supporter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hedley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Lynn Holland.
She is survived by her husband of almost 77 years, Buford Holland of Hedley; two sons, Otis Darrell Holland wife Barbara of Hedley and Glyndol Holland and wife Kathi of Amarillo; a daughter, Gail Hill and husband Johnny of Hedley; a brother, Haskell Foster of New York; a sister, Drucilla Cotton of Springtown; Two sisters-in-law, Bobbie Holland of Friendswood, and Cliftie Johnson and husband Mike of Clarendon; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren.
