Georgia Beth Ford's Obituary
Georgia Beth Ford, 85, of Wheeler, Texas died Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Wheeler.
Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Cornerstone Church in Wheeler with Rev. Rodney Weatherly and Rev. Erron Mercer, officiating. Burial will follow at Wheeler Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Georgia was born January 13, 1933 in Wheeler to Otis and Ruby May Ford. She had been a lifetime resident of Wheeler and was a proud Wheeler Mustang fan. She started working as a bookkeeper for the Feed Store in Wheeler, then a bank teller for First National Bank of Wheeler, later co-owned Wheeler Redi-Mix, and lastly for Security Federal Savings and Loan and while there she obtained her GED as well as took some college bank classes. She was family oriented and loved holidays. She loved music, playing the piano, and enjoyed her assisted living family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ruby; and 2 brothers, Roy and K.D. Ford.
She is survived by her sister, Glenda Floyd and husband R.G. of Kingsland and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
The family suggest memorials be sent to the Wheeler Volunteer Fire Department or Wheeler Cemetery Association.
