George Emeric Eck, 93, of McLean, Texas died Saturday, May 31, 2025 in McLean, Texas.

Mr. Eck was born May 29, 1932 in Cheney, Kansas to John and Anna Timmesch Eck. He married Joyce Middleswart on August 13, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas. He was a Catholic. He was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean conflict which included a tour of duty with the USAF Aerial Demonstration Team “The Thunderbirds”. He was a cattleman. He was also a member in many agricultural and civic organizations.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce Eck; a son, Dr. Tom Eck; his brothers, Father Vincent Eck, Father Reinhard Eck, Rusty Eck, Joe Eck, Alphons Eck, and Urban Eck; and sister, Mary Scripsick.
Survivors include daughter, Rozanna Howard and husband Sid of Canyon; son, Andy Eck and wife Cherri of McLean; daughter, Maria Carroll and husband Duane of Crowell; a daughter in law, Aimee Eck of Canyon; his grandchildren, Quay Howard, Wendy Carter, Blaine Carroll, Josie, John, Daniel, and David Eck; great grandchildren, Caden Shultz and husband Tanner and Carson Carter; a brother, Monsignor Ivan Eck; his sisters, Ida Rau and Joan Becker; and numerous relatives and friends.
