George M. Allen, November 1, 1938 – October 9, 2023.
George, who resided in Canyon, died peacefully in a care home in Amarillo. He is survived by his wife, Paula. He is also survived by his daughter, Theresa and Terry Bookout, of Amarillo; son, Marvin and Cricket Allen of Odessa, TX; four step-daughters, Christie and Tom Morgan of Amarillo, Jeanie and Greg Shawhart of Amarillo, Janie and Trent Aggas of Dallas, and Dena and Brad Baker of Amarillo; and brother, Bobby Allen from Blountville, TN. For many years, he was an active member of the Khiva Shrine. He owned and operated Allen Bookkeeping for 45 years before retirement. He will be buried in Memphis, TX surrounded by family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
