Gary Lynn Davis' Obituary
Gary Lynn Davis, 66, of Wheeler died Saturday, June 30, 2018 in Denton.
Services will be 1:30 PM Thursday, July 5, 2018 in the First Baptist Church in Wheeler with Rev. Larry Mitchell, officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery in Sweetwater, Oklahoma with Masonic Rites.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Gary was born August 2, 1951 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Leondus and Alta Jean Smith Davis. He married Linda Karen Carter in 1973. He had been a resident of Wheeler most of his life. HE worked for Wheeler County prior to his retirement. He was a former member of the Wheeler Volunteer Fire Department, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and FIrst Baptist Church in Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Jeff.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Davis of Wheeler; a son, Shane Davis and wife Sarah of Sanger; 2 grandchildren, Charli and Xander; a brother, Kevin Davis; a niece, Hannah of Wheeler; his nephews, Alexander of Wheeler, Jackson of Amarillo, and Chris of South Texas.
