Garfield Henry Williams' Obituary
Garfield Henry Williams, 79, of Memphis died Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Amarillo.
Services will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church in Memphis, with Rev. Charles Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Memphis.
Garfield was born September 17, 1939 in Memphis. He had served in the US Army and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was a farmer prior to his retirement and was a member of the New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otho and Mildred Rogers; one sister, Georgia Bell Dickson; 3 brothers, L.D. Hall, Harry Rogers, and William Rogers.
He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sisters, Opal Means and Debbie Lewis; a brother, Loral Rogers; wife, Pearly Mae Johnson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
