Gail Alice Knight, 75, of Wheeler, left us on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in Wheeler, Texas.
Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Cornerstone Church, Daylon Kirkland, officiating.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Wheeler.
Gail A. Knight was born September 28, 1943 in Woodstock, IL. She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Lillian Hopperstad of Ridgefield, IL. She attended Shawnee College in Ullin, IL. Where she received her Associated Degree in Nursing. She worked as a traveling nurse for U.S. Nursing for 22 years until her retirement. After her retirement she continued to work at the Canadian Nursing Home. She was also an avid gardener.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, James C. Walker.
Survivors include her daughter Jodi Walker, of Briscoe; son Chad Knight of Shamrock; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great- grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of Flowers that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
