Freddie Starr Johnson was my second cousin on my mothers side, Lois Faye Martin Carter. My grandfather Fred Martin and her won dad Starr, is who Freddie Starr was named after. I remember when she would come to New Mexico to see us and how much fun she and the others would have playing dominoes "32" sitting around laughing and having fun. My aunt, Donna Martin Jonke and her son Adam, and I came to see her in the nursing home last year while we were on a whirl-wind venture through west Texas. I enjoyed visiting with her and reminiscing about old times and family. He mother, Florance, who we knew as Aunt Dickie, her cousins Maxine and my mother Faye were folks we shared stories of and others as well. Im so happy I was able to visit with her one last tBless

One of my most special memories is being at Freddie Starr's house for Christmas and listening to Gene Autry's rendition of "Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer". It was on a red label RCA 78 rpm Christmas record. Guess it's still sitting right there next to the fireplace.
Too many other great Freddie Starr memories to even continue.
Freddie Starr has a very special place in a lot of people's hearts and she will be missed.
Sending Our Sincere Condolences. Always Phyllis (Dunn) & Thomas Rape
