ESTELLINE SERVICES - Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in Hulver Cemetery at Estelline with Bryan Knowles, Pastor of the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, officiating. INTERMENT - Hulver Cemetery near Estelline. Mr. Longbine was born in Parnell, Texas to James and Rosa Longbine. He had been a resident of Estelline and Hall County most of his life. He also served in the US Army in World War II from 1942 to 1946. He married Doris Sams on August 28, 1942 in Hall County, Texas. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - his wife, Doris in 1989; a son, Terry Longbine in 1995; and a grandson, Christopher Longbine in 1976. SURVIVORS - 3 sons Clyde Longbine of Amarillo, Monty Longbine of Estelline, Glen Longbine of Dallas; 2 daughters, Wanda Smith of Clarendon, Gaynell Miller of Witchita Falls; one brother, Leslie Longbine of California; 2 sisters, Katie Rogers of Childress, Margret Mendez of Amarillo; 18 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. MEMORIALS - VA Medical Center in Amarillo or Hulver Cemetery Association in Estelline.
