CLAUDE GRAVESIDE SERVICES - 10:00 am Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Claude Cemetery with Rev. Janet Edwards officiating. INTERMENT- Claude Cemetery in Claude. Arrangements are by Robertson Armstrong Chapel of Claude. Mrs. Reck was born in Armstrong County on July 11, 1907 to Tony A. and Celine Chauveaux, Armstrong County pioneer settlers. She had been a lifetime resident of Claude. She married John A. Reck on December 27, 1936 at Claude. She was a member of the Malden Harmony Club. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her husband; her son, Freddie G. Reck; two sisters, Louise Swann and Mary Dooley; and two brothers, Ivan Chauveaux and Roy Chauveaux. SURVIVORS - her brother, John Chauveaux and wife Billie of Claude; two sisters, Genia Hughes and Anna Belle Hughes of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Cheri Reck Mann of Amarillo, and D’Lene Reck Sandleback and husband Brian of Green Lake, WI; three great grandchildren, Preston Mann of Amarillo and Beau and Cody Sandleback of Green Lake, WI; her daughter-in-law, Coleen Reck of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews. MEMORIALS - may be made to Armstrong County Museum, PO Box 450, Claude, TX 79019 or to one’s favorite charity. REMARKS- Viewing will be Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Robertson Armstrong Chapel in Claude.
