Frances Jo Henderson Riley passed from this life Tuesday morning June 9, 2015. Graveside side services will be at Shamrock cemetery Friday June 12th, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial services will be at Neil Chapel on Carillon Campus, 1717 Norfolk Ave. in Lubbock, TX at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday June 13th, 2015.

Frances was born October 25th, 1929 to parents Acie and Dona Teakell Henderson. She graduated from Shamrock High School in 1947. She attended Frank Phillips College and Amarillo College. She worked at Southwestern Public Service for 36 years, retiring in 1990. She resided in Amarillo Texas until 2011, moving to Lubbock to be near family.
Frances enjoyed spending time with family and friends in many activities ranging from attending the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, hot air ballooning across the Great Plains to spending time at the cabin in Ute Park New Mexico.
She survived by sister Mary Prosser (Mike), niece Lisa Niday (Michael), nephew Chip Prosser, John Prosser (Pam), grandnephew Chance Prosser, grandniece Cherolyn Hallett and children David Michael, Wyatt, Codee and Kayla. She was a member of the Church of Church. Memorials may be sent to High Plains Children's Home, PO Box 7448, Amarillo, TX 79114.
