CLARENDON
SERVICES- 4:00 pm Saturday, October 12, 2013 in the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Lloyd Stice and Rev. Bruce Howard, officiating.
INTERMENT- Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Fern was born November 15, 1929 in Washburn to Fredrick Christopher and Emily Gibbs. She married Truett Eugene Hall on May 13, 1948 in Amarillo. She had been a resident of Clarendon since 1963 and was owner of Hall Tax and Bookkeeping for 38 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Clarendon Country Club and Clarendon Ladies Golf Association. She loved reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon where she sang solos, sang in the choir, taught Sunday school, and volunteered in many other capacities.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and a grandson, Charley Eugene Hall.
SURVIVORS- her husband, Truett Hall of Clarendon; 2 daughters, Shirley McCulloch and husband Michael of Clarendon and Truetta Brandt and husband Gerald of Amarillo; 2 sons, John Hall and wife Loretta of Hedley and James Hall of Chilton; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
