FUNERAL SERVICES - Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Calvary Christian Fellowship Church, with Rev. Joe G. Jernigan, officiating.
INTERMENT - Dozier Cemetery in Dozier, Tx.

Etta Louvina Hudson was born November 5, 1943 in Shamrock to Robert Alta and Susie Nixson Harvey. Etta Lou grew up in Dozier and spent most of her life in the Shamrock area. She left her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Etta Lou married the love of her life, Harmon Hudson on July 19, 1960. They lived on the Mills Ranch for 38 years before moving to Shamrock where they continued their life
together. She enjoyed reading, sending and receiving cards with letters of love and her family. She retired after working at the Irish Inn as Housekeeping Supervisor. Etta Lou was a wonderful wife, mother, granny and great granny who will be missed in so many ways. She was a Methodist.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY - her parents; her step-father Bill Bradstreet; two brothers, Robert Harvey and Ray Harvey; five step-brothers; and two step-sisters.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE - Her husband, Harmon Hudson, of Shamrock; son, Alta Hudson of Fritch; daughter, Betty Allen of Shamrock; brother, Raymond Harvey & wife Verna of Amarillo; sister, Linda Hall Lamb & husband Mark of Hammon, OK; 9 grandchildren including Heath & Delinda Allen of McLean, Brandi Wright of Shamrock, Landon & Samantha Allen of Shamrock, Laramie & Kandi Allen of Samnorwood, Natalie Hudson & Dusty Clift of Amarillo, Jennifer & Zane Walker of Fritch, Emily Hudson of Amarillo, James & Erin Hudson of Colorado Springs, and Jerry Hudson of Borger; 16 great grandchildren including Malanee, Brynlee, and Easton Allen, Dalton, Sean, and Paisley Wright, Kolbi and Kyli Allen, Braxton & Myleigh Allen, Dallan Clift, Robert & Hoyt Hudson, Anna, Alex Hudson, and Evanie Cox.
