Alice: My mothers sister (Tommie Neeley) brought the newspaper to my folks from Amarillo. Our whole family is sad to hear the news of your mother. But, I have to tell you that your parents were saints to us all when I was a child. We will never forget them. Dad showed me the paper and said, "Your 3rd Grandmother". To us, they were Ma (your father) and Favor (your mother). It sounds a little backwards, but that is who they were. Very special folks.
I had the pleasure of caring for Mrs. Favor while she was at Plum Creek. She was a special lady and will be missed. My thoughts and prayera are with you at this time. May God Bless you and give you strength.Toni Upton R.N.
